Point out all the advantages that are in it for them, all the things they can get out of it. If there aren't any advantages for them, then tell them how happy it would make you, if they did it for you, and perhaps offer some sort of reward or reciprocation back to them, at some point in the future.

Well what i do when i want someone to do something for me is that i use something to bribe them with. Secrets and candy usually do the trick for me. (lol) It depends on who you are trying to persuade and what you want them to do though.

if i were you, i would tell them all of the pros that come with the thing that u want to persuade them to do.....tell them how important it is to you, and if they're a good friend they will do it for you....as long as its not too crazy

Be honest up front with what you need and why you need it, but also make sure that they know how it will help them.
If it wont really help them, then make something up, or bs them into thinking it'll help them.
Most people are as self-serving as they are lazy, so if you can stress the positives from their POV, they'll help you.
