If someone reliable told you that you had the spirit of a dark elf would you take them seriously?

Its a genuine question, any chance of a genuine answer, Its the least I can ask for......I'm a little bit clueless on the spirituality front!

OK, all those people who think an elf is something from Tolkien put your hands DOWN! An Elf in spiritual matters refers to someone with a stronger connection to the astral and mental planes of existence (In the 7 planes of existence these are the two directly above the physical, i.e. where we exist). It's interesting though, because I've never come across the term dark-elf in that context before, however it could just be a comment on how they percieve your personality. The other possibility is that your connection might be stronger with the sub-planes, those eixsting below the physical (As above, so below, all things must be balanced).
I wouldn't worry, but perhaps it's time you corrected your cluelessness about spiritual matters. This may have been a warning regarding future events/developments.

I think Mr. Anonymous and Mike have the right idea.

If your friend is a spiritual healer or medium then they are suggesting you have a connection with the higher planes. You will have to look into your own character to see where the dark element might come in.

If they are a layman/woman then they may just be inviting you to play War Hammer with them or to create an Avatar for an online CyberWorld. Below are a couple of links about the mythological origins of dark elves and some more modern interpretations.

You must be clueless about spirituality if you got caught with this one.

An Elf is a Fantasy creature.
It was made up at some point and put into stories to amuse (or frighten) little children.

The Spirit may not be a proven fact but its existence is a thousand times more likely the an Elf.

For you to have the Spirit of a Dark Elf, you either have a bottle of Whiskey which belongs to one or you have slightly pointed ears and someone is poking fun at you.

Your spirit may be Light or Dark but the Elf part is nonsense.

Yes, I would seriously take them to a Psychiatrist. Really, you should find out exactly what they mean by "dark elf", ...I mean are we talkin like a Keebler Elf...Santas Elf, whats the deal? ..Just better hope its not Elfvis - cause Hes the King!. Also, many people confuse Elfs with Dwarfs, so if that is the case; it would depend on which type too. Could be Sleepy, Dopey,Comet, Blitzen, ... etc... Ive heard of people being posessed by the spirit of Papa Smurf also, and thats one dark dude! Regardless, I dont think a elf should be judged by their color!

I think that you should definately consider what this person is saying. They are comparing your spirit to the spirit of a dark elf. Chances are they don't know an elf, but maybe they are comparing you to an elf in a video game or in a movie.

How would you know if that person was reliable if your clueless about the spiritual front? Tell the person who told you this that John John said they had the spirit of the tokiyen and see if they find if serious.

Nobody really knows who has a spirit or not. I would say the person who told you this is either pulling your leg or wants to genuinely scare you. I wouldnt bother about it.

So what do you mean by "reliable". Certainly not an airline pilot or bank manager. Any person that talks of Elves, is immature and gullible. If it`s the girlfriend, boot her, and get one from planet Earth !
