Do black and brown match?

Question

for example- black skirt/pants and brown top.
I ask a few kids in my school and they said that it doesnt. Whats your opinion?

Depends on teh shade of Brown. But mostly, yes they go together.

Sometimes. Like, if the brown top is satin or silk then it would look really good because it's a different material and look. But if there's nothing to differentiate the brown top from the black, then no it doesn't go.

What kind of a brown? A black and a reddish-brown MIGHT work, but you're better off sticking to some other color. Brown and green looks good, if you ask me!

No sorry that doesn't match... unless black and brown are in the same top or skirt together or maybe even shoes. FOR EXAMPLE: leopard pattern or something else...
Then you could wear it with jeans or something like that (if it's a top or shoes)

Black and brown NEVER matches.
okay. i take that back, they RARELY match.
When you have those two colors, it really detracts from your outfit. trust me on this one.
Now if you were wearing a cute brown top with like a black bracelet and black earrings. Then maybe... only if they are very cute.

No. Especially a chocolate brown. If it's more of a rust colored brown - you could maybe get away with it. But generally - no. It doesn't clash - but they just doesn't complement each other. Just like navy and black. That's even worse.

i don't think that it matches......only because they are to dark colours and it just looks kind of weird......maybe if it was a lighter brown...........
