It was brought to my attention that the diapers that Lisa was wearing were the ones that the astronauts use for their missions. A few questions actually, wouldn't that be considered stealing a Government item from a Government facility? What is NASA's security really like if this item was "considered" stolen, don't they check what comes and goes in there (How many people place a set of Astronaut Diapers on their mantel and are proud of it)? Finally, it is to my attention she has a "Global tracking device" on her leg, with that in mind if there was an important mission right now where she had to go to the moon for something, there was noone to replace her, would the tracking device work on the moon?

Space exploration has brought us many new and useful things for life here on earth like, Tang, polymers, sunglass shades, and now diapers.

Those diapers got more news coverage on both sides of the Atlantic than any other part of the Astro-Nut saga. I read a British account that "she wore nappies during her long trek." While Robo-chick is on a 30 day leave from duty, I suspect NASA might want to replace her in the near future. She really set women back a few orbits with her antics.

I was so shocked when i saw the news today i couln't belive what i was hearing I had to listen to several news channels to see if i heard was true! WOW... A Astronaut, a women, at that who would have ever thought she was so messed up in a love triangle to go so far to do what she did , i guess we would do anything when it comes to the heart of a women and those strong feelings that goes with it. I kind of feel sorry for her and I;am sure went out of her mind when she did what she did.

I agree that she should be charged with stealing from a government agency, but I think we taxpayers can do without the return of her stolen soiled diapers. She is insane.

Considering the charge of attempted murder she is facing the diapers and their provenance I think can be considered a peripheral issue.
