What type of bonds exist in a diatomic molecules?

i think its covalent, but im not sure...

If you are talking about within molecules, yes, covalent.

Diatomic elements (such as O2 F2 H2) are non-metals, so therefore they would have covalent bonds, since technically this is two non-metals being bonded together. (Hydrogen is crazy though but generally it would be covalent.)
