I say the AFC is beter because they got the best offence like the colts and the best defense like the baltimore ravens and the the best Special Teams......................(how come Ray lewis was not selected for the probowl)

Well lets look at it this way, Which coference had more total wins this year? AFC-136 total wins, NFC- 120 total wins Plus the Colts won the superbowl

Right now, the AFC. The AFC has won 8 of the last 10 Super Bowls and constantly beats down the NFC in the regular season. However, before this stretch there was the 13 year reign of the NFC.

Clearly over the last few years the AFC has been more dominant. They have won the last four Super Bowls and all but one since 2000 (00 Raven, 01, 03, and 04 Patriots, 05 Steelers, 06 Colts). In head-to-head regular season matchups over the last three years, the AFC has clearly dominated. At this point in time, the AFC is the better conference.

Right now the AFC is better. But it switches off. I mean there was a 12 year stretch between 1985 and 1997 where no AFC team won a Super Bowl.

AFC is better hands down. I think there are 4 or 5 AFC teams better than any NFC team.

the afc does NOT have better coaches they have good coaches but come on the nfc has coach of the year sean payton, lovie smith etc. im not saying the afc has bad coaches beacause dungy is amazing but just b.c afc is stronger doesnt make them have better coaches. and i dont think its so much of the afc i think its just the colts and pats that are the best and make the league.
when you think afc you think pats and colts

Definitley the AFC. If you look at Super Bowl Champions in recent years it has been all AFC. Same with the Pro Bowl.

AFC without a doubt, great teams win super bowls, good teams just get to the playoffs.

AFC, don't know why, but eventually it'll swing back to the NFC (since that's where it used to be when the Super Bowl stuff started). It's like when wars happen, it's cyclical....

i agree that the afc is stronger right now ,ray lewis was selected but a injury is keeping him home
