undergraduate means that you're still in college. post graduate means that you have graduated from college. 'postgraduate' classes are for those pursuing a Master's or Doctoral degree

Undergraduate is before one receives a bachelor of arts or similar degree----in effect, graduates from college----and postgraduate is after one graduates from college and then continues on for an advanced degree like Doctor of Medicine or a Phd or Law degree.

An undergraduate degree is when you graduate high school you go into college and will study something like business for example and when you graduate you will get your BA/BS. And postgraduate is when you go from having that BA/BS degree to getting your masters or even PhD. It is just a step higher.

undergraduate is the first degree you get...so for example a B.A=bachelor of arts or BsC=bachelor of science. could be 3 or 4 years.
post-graduate is continuted education in your field which you obtained a bachelor degree in...so like getting an M.A or Doctorate.
