Ive got electric heaters in my rented flat and its that bad im considering moving out

They are called Storage heaters and collect the heat from special bricks in the wall.
They heat up for about 6hours (mine at night) and let f all heat out.

It costs me £4 a night on electric.

Waste of time and money

Dont think about it

Yes you can have electric fires, convector-hot air heaters or storage radiators. The electricity heats up bricks inside the radiators at night when electricity is less expensive and then gives out the heat during the day. Oil fired central heating is the cheapest.

No, it doesn't require any fuels to use. Its simply coils heating up and heat radiating from the coils. Uses allot of electricity though depending on what size you use.
