Most certainly. Erasing History, Cookies, and
Temporary files is simply not good enough.
Try,
ipconfig/ displaydns
from the command line, and you'll see what I mean.
To reset this cache of sites, use,
ipconfig/ flushdns
Of course, it will also very much depend on the actual
sites that you have visited. Some can and most
certainly do write data and temporary files elsewhere
on your system.
Also, don't forget that there is deleting and deleting.
As with the recycle bin, data has not been removed
until itself *and* all its reference points are physically
overwritten on the disk it resides on. To do this
requires a several pass security wipe of your drive.
Of course finding you out, depends on the knowledge
of those looking for what it is you are trying to hide.
They may well be cleverer ( or the software they are
using cleverer ) than you think. And, a great many
have been caught out by this in the past by just that.
The above just deals with your computer. There are
records kept elsewhere, especially from your ISP's
access logs. So .. your best and safest options?
1. Be honest and up front
2. If they happen to be sites you shouldn't visit,
and you are not prepared for consequences
and retribution to land on your head, then
don't go there in the first place! :o)
HTH.

There are always ways, pretty much regardless of what you do. The Internet Service Providers sometimes keep records, computer networks keep records, and, if you're doing something illegal, the FBI has a program that they use to restore your browser history as well as just about anything else that you've done/deleted from your computer. Trust me, they did it to me after someone used my computer as an image to hack into Ericcson Mobile. Bottom line is, BE CAREFUL. Don't do crappy things, and crappy things won't happen.

If you erase all the stuff these other guys say, MOST people will not know where you've been... some very determined individuals CAN and WILL be able to tell where you've been from your ISP, etc... Pay heed to what Neonmatrix says....

i dont think that you can erase the websites that u have been on, but one way to get rid of it is, type in many names of other websites, blocking out the one that u dont want to be seen....hope this helps!!!!
