Make up the second part. A compound sentence consists of two complete sentences combined by some sort of conjunction word (but, so, and, or, yet, etc). For example, number 8 is "Great minds think alike".. You can add a second sentence so that it becomes,

"Great minds think alike, yet fools seldom differ". The two sentences are "Great minds think alike", "fools seldom differ". They are combined with the word "yet".

don't ask people to do your homework for you

You just take the proverb and add but, so, yet, or and, and write something else to make it a compound sentence.

example (#13) : Misery loves company, but company hates misery.

Just write something dumb like that, its not that hard.
