im not sure if im pregnant, but ive been feeling tired and having headaches and feeling VERY bloated, and my lower abdomen is pooching out a little and has become slightly hard. if i concieved im pretty sure it was on jan 9th, on jan 20th i had a tiny spot of blood, that was brownish in color, two days later on the 22nd i had an extremely light period that lasted two days with no cramping, which is very unusual for me, my period normally lasts at least five days and is accompanied by HEAVY cramping. lately ive been a little moody and emotional, but nothing too crazy. also, ive had some slight nasea with no vommiting, it just feels like im going to gag. some other symtoms im having are: increased discharge with a thick,clumpy texture,pain 'behind' my belly button(?) and a runny nose. (i read somewhere that was a symptom??) i would really appreciate it if you would share your opinon on wheter or not you think im pregnant or just going crazy? thanks!

Why do I feel congested all the time?
Believe it or not, it's pretty common to have a runny or stuffed-up nose during pregnancy. About 20 to 30 percent of pregnant women have congestion without having allergies or a viral infection like the common cold. This condition even has a name: rhinitis of pregnancy. It can start as early as your second month and last until you have your baby or even a few weeks afterward.
Higher amounts of estrogen during pregnancy can contribute to swelling in the mucous membranes lining the nose and even cause you to make more mucus. What's more, the amount of blood in your body increases and your blood vessels expand during pregnancy, which can lead to swollen nasal membranes as well. Other hormones may also play a role.

I tink that it is a good chance that you are. And you are absolutely right I am only 8 weeks pregnant and have been constantly congested and runny nose. When I hardly ever had a cold in the past. Go out and get you a hpt, or make a doc's appt. Good Luck!

ur just going crazy. do you have a runny nose or do you just say you do because you read somewhere that it was a symptom of pregnancy? (which, by the way, it is not)
