From now on
I will not write of you in poems.
Having written innumerable poems,
Having played with an abundance of expressions,
I have emptied myself of feelings
And am inviting fresh emotions inside me.
Today, as I observe all the emotions
Which are poured into my poems
Especially written for you,
They do not even come close
To your splendour,
To your divinity,
To your character,
They are unable to portray
Your likeness.
Amidst the voices, you are unvoiced;
Amidst the shapes, you are unapparent;
You are the altar of my love;
You are the melody of my life.
In the abundance of my feelings
I will still carry you
But from now on
I will not write of you in poems
