You leave too much to the imagination..........

The air is free unless it is in an air conditioned room and you are paying the costs of AC

Your opinion that you express to others is free unless you have a PHD or MD or some other degree that allows you to bill for that bit of wisdom dispersed

The songs of birds are freely given if you take the moment to listen to them.

Many and varied things are free, but some come with a hidden expense. A "free" desert in restaurant is not free if you had to buy a meal. A "free" tire is not free if you had to buy three other tires to get it. Nothing is free if you have to buy other things or do other things to get it.
