A lot of it depends on the type of contacts that you are getting and your eye condition. It's best to only wear them in increasing time increments during the first week. Like day 1 wear for an hour, day 2 for two hours, etc. But, if they start to feel uncomfortable be sure to take them out. Get some comfort drops and use them only if you need them, because they help your contacts rehydrate. It should only take about two weeks, but try not to rush things. If there is any major discomfort, contact your eye doctor immediately.

not long...I got them a week or two ago and already I walk around acting like I can naturally see :-D
