that's a very good question. i don't think it's like the beauty pageants where revoking the winner happens on a regular basis. we all know they have to return the grammys, but we still to this day know that they won it. they just don't the statue to prove it. so i guess that's the year nobody really won best new artist...

i don't know. never thought of it. all i know of them is that they were a laughing stock after that, their career never recovered, even after they made their own music using their own voices, and one of them commited suicide.
