If they have problems, what is the most common. Are they expensive to fix and find parts for? Thanks

i love the old rotaries...i like working on them...

but i am a mechanic....they are expensive to fix, getting harder to find parts for them. They also CAN go more than 150k miles...if you are very careful about your maintenence schedule and stick to it.
It is a very collectable sports car, can be made to go very very fast.

Other than that, go for it....

Having owned 3 and blown engines in 2, yeah they are super reliable!

I jest. Actually they are very trouble free. The engines are unique to these cars though, have a very finite life (usually no more than 100-150k miles) and are not particularly easy to rebuild. And simply because of the age of the cars and the relatively small number that remain, you won't find parts on the shelf everywhere. RX-7's probably fall into the "collectible sports car" category more so than the "daily driver" category. This is not to say you can't drive one daily, just don't expect it to be without issues like a new Honda.

theyre pretty unreliable, the parts are somewhat hard to find, and finding people to work on rotaries is difficult.

if youre worried about reliablity, an RX7 isnt the right car for you.
