i dont.

the people like ted bundy, BTK killer, charles manson etc. are all sociopaths. its a personality disorder and they are usualy born with it. there act are evil and the wiring in there brain is off.

i also dont beleive in other evils. usualy its just people who arealmost broken inside and make bad decisions. i have many friends who have done bad things. and i know for a fact that they are good people. they just made bad choices and life pounded everything out of them and they chose to think differently. but i see little spurts of the true them come out when the situation calls for it

Certain behaviors are conveniently and helpfully labelled "evil" for purposes of a quick read. Maybe an encyclopedia could be written on the fine semantic distinctions calling a murderer "evil" involves. But most people really don't need to read 20,000 pages on the topic to reach a common sense stance about cannibals and rapists and serial killers. A Phd isn't necessary to tell you you don't want to wind up one of Manson's or Dahmer's victims.

Sometimes, calling something "evil" is a safety valve. Labelling things is a habit which can allow you to set something aside. You name it, and you control it. Better that than sitting and stewing over torture all the time or taking the law into your own hands. Right?

I think evil is usually "watered down" by some good or at least muddied a bit by a pinch of mediocrity. In the old days you might have been able to find some pure evil, but interbreeding has pretty much diluted evil to the point that sometimes you can catch it off guard.

This is why, if you are going through hell, you should keep on going, and don't slow down. If you're scared, don't show it! You might get out before the devil even knows you're there!!!

I really don't know what to think about evil. If there were no evil there would be no good; you wouldn't have anything to compare it to. I don;t think there is pure evil. No new born baby I have ever encountered was evil. I think evil people have to be nurtured and it is a wonder to me how human mothers do such a good job (being for the most part just shy of being little girls) raising their babies since the good people outnumber the evil in the world by overwhelming margins. If it weren't so the world would be in chaos.

what you say about ted bundy and btk and the like is true, but if you listen to what these people have to say they cannot even tell you why they do what they do. All of them talk of feeling like they are possessed. there are many socio/psychopaths out there; not all of them are killers. alot of them hold positions of power. Scary to think about ,but true. I do believe in pure evil. Whats depressing is the fact that there seems to be more evil than good no matter where I turn.

I believe that pure evil exist at birth. Those that are pure evil gave indications of what was to come to their parents. Torturing animals---hurting people---setting fires. And books I've read on killers like this there is a chemical in the brain that most everyone else don't have.

I don't believe in pure evil. Good and evil are subjective concepts. People you may think of as evil may beleive that they are doing good. So, are they evil because we say they are or are they good because they think they are? Who decides what is good and what is evil? To me, evil is doing something to hurt someone else for no other reason. You simply want to do them harm whether it be physical, emotional, financial or otherwise. With this in mind, pure evil would mean that every act you ever do has to be designed to hurt someone else with no concern for anything else.

Yes, I believe in pure evil...yes they are sociopaths, etc., it's ttheir intentions that are evil. Evil is everywhere. The good outnumber the evil. That's what makes it so appalling when something evil happen's around us. But then life goes on and we forget or at least put it behind us until something evil happens again.

I believe only in human error, "evil" is a term used to describe the incomprehensible actions of others, but if you lived their life you'd know why they were cockends.

Check out http://www.Write-A-Murderer.com where you can see letters directly from some of these people and you can make your own decisions. Most of them seem very nice and not "crazy" at all.
