Your favourites are stored on the actual hard drive of the PC, they don't just float around in the ether waiting for you to grab them, so even though you've got a set of favourites on your desktop machine that doesn't mean they're magically available on the laptop just because you've booted it up.

If you want the same favourites to appear on your laptop you'll need to copy them onto it from the desktop.

I hope you are referring to your internet explorer favorites.

In order for you access those, you need to open your internet browser, if its internet explorer from Microsoft. you need to click on FAVORITES. and what ever you've added to that ( IN YOUR LAPTOP ) will be there.
