this is what i think they should do:
hire Norv as head coach and let go of owens and go out and get a pass rusher like Freeny or Seymour who are free agents. mel kiper jr is saying draft Nelson which i think is a good pick.
or:
hire wade phillips and keep owens

Hire Pete Carroll from USC and get a good veteran QB backup. Romo did nothing to impress me except for the fact he was better than Bledsoe. His whole romomentum thing got bent wayyyy out of proportion. They should also draft an offensive lineman in the first round. They may seem ageless, but the O-line will be the cowboys downfall next year if they don't improve it.

i dont think Norv will help that much.
Norv Turner is such a Great O-coordinator. he did so much to young teams that brought them to the superbowl, especially your cowboys. however as we saw in Oakland, he could not do Head Coaching jobs as well. he did not resolve conflicts well, he couldn't manuver waivers and FA well. Drafting he tends to draft Offense well but horrible when it comes to defense. how likely do you see Freeney or Seymour going into the Free agency Pool? even if they do will Norv sign them? again Norv doesn't understand the intricacy of Defense much
as a head coach i'm not sure if he will do as much. but Wade Phillips is more of a unheard of guy, and he doesn't have as great of a history with the cowboys as Norv does...so really i think it is a toss up

Richard Seymour (if that's the Seymour you're referring to) is not a free agent.
As for what the cowboy's should do, chill out, find a good coach and see what Romo can do...

Pick a coach and get rid of TO. He ain't worth the trouble. No player is. The man is a cancer and he isn't going to change.

hire one of the bears coach like mike singletary or ron rivera. the defense has the right personel, i just thought bill parcels was too conservative with the whole team. a younger coach might let them loose.
