The fact that the European Empires set out to conquer practically the whole world Americas, Asia and Africa, could never be forgiven. What is now America has invaded so many nations since the foundation of this nation. The native peoples and the stolen African. And Today America is invading the middle east. All of those who benifit from the European -American invasions since 1492 till today are responsible for their ancestors actions. We must end the Euro-American occupation of the world or all people of color will continue living under colonialism as long as there is America as the "strongest" nation in the world. Justice

History repeats itself, so i guess man learns nothing from it It has to be experiened by the following generatuons to know whether a mistake has been made.
Empires, wre otriginally forged with the attempt to help a country attain a better standard of living, But somehow like all empires it becasem self serving.
There is no doubt that the standard of living in India was improved with the british Empire. Comaper india today and it is far from Grand it has totally deyriorated . There is no public mainteneance , hotels are in disrepair and poverty and unemployement are at their worst. The Dutch in the East Indies also made an impact initially, Can we say that The east Indies are flourishingh now since the Dutch left? No they are as corrupt as hell itself. French in Asia did much to bring better transport, housing and employement to the masses. Since their departure, only the language remains. The rest is also falling apart and into squalor. The punsihment, for Empire building, has been delivered back to the Empire builders, in a trick called Multi Culturalism a celevr trick to dilute the majority class. If you ever visit Britain you would be hard pushed to see a white skin native in many parts of the old dart.
The foreign policies of the USA will also be returned home 10 fold for their interference in countries outside their borders. Iraq is only the tip of the ice berg. They think they are so wonderful, but if you dig deep the Japanese don;t like them nor do the Koreans or
Itanians hate them with a passion and with reason. They used sadam to go to war against them. Hawaian would prefer to have them out of Hawain Island. The Cubans , certainly don't want them even if Fidel does die. But the gum chewing coca cola consumers keep pushing the envelope. They keep electing weak insufferable warmongering religiously radivcal leaders who are no differnt to any Mullah or Mufti in middle East who claims he is "Doing God's Work"

No it wasn't ok before and it isn't ok now. It is in the past now and we really didn't have anything to do with it. The people alive today in Britain are not responsible for what our ancestors did. I know it was crappy what the British Empire did, I'm not proud of it. But people who still try to invade other countries and kind of get an empire going now should be stopped. We've learned from mistakes and people shouldn't do it now.

I cannot imagine which countries to which you refer, because only China and India are in the running.
The per capita income of China is very low and possibly 98% of the population is very poor. The same is true of India, which has a very small band of elite top-earners.
It is western investment and western money which is making their economic development possible, but unless they conform to human rights, pollution control and any new emission standards, they will be hampered by the west.
Russia will possibly overtake everyone in the next 50 years, so I wouldn't worry.

no it is not right but we live in an age where modern weapons could destroy the whole planet. The threats, even ones that seem unlikely must be stopped even if it seems hypocrytical to do so now. until the whole world can be trusted to be sensible and not hurt each other these measures must be taken.

i am a history major, so let me see if i can help you answer this without making it into a report...
if you go back in time to the babelonians, the phenecians, the greeks, the romans, even up to the 18th century english...taking over countries was about growing an empires economy, when those civilizations took over countries they completely dominated them, meaning nothing belonged to the people of that origin anymore, if they left any of them survive...when the russians did it during the cold war it was about political power and once again resources for the main country. they come in, take what they want, implement their coulture and policies and leave everyone with a bad taste in their mouths.
it was only recently during the WW2 when americans stepped in with an entirely new veiw of conquest...like when germany was divided after the war france, russia, and england wanted to ensure that germany literally suffered for centuries after what they did. but america said 'no more' they divided the country into two and took on the attitude of, 'if we help these people restructure themselves and be able to stand on their own two feet, one day we might be regarded as allies and do commerce together and everyone would be happy and prosper...we did the same thing to japan, which by the way after WW2 was a desolate and devastated country, look where they are now after our help and money...it is them who canpractically own us. and they happen to be oneof our biggest supplier as we are to them, of course there were some stipulations which worked inour favor, such as any japanese product went through us, before it went anywhere else, hence why europeans attimes travel here to buy japanese products because we get first dibs before the others have to pay slightly inflated prices...and if your question comes to todays era of iraq, well, in a way we tried to do the same thing, we came in, took out their government, and tried to instill a government that was helpful to the majority of the populus. we didnt even take or ask for dibs on their oil, what they make or produce is theirs to have and make their own money off of.
of course things have gone terribly wrong, why because the iraqies have not felt the true sufferage of what real war is like, and thus dont want to end it...im not trying to defend bush, i dont think he has an IQ higher than that of a chicken, but aside for his reason to go to war with them, he wanted to establish a place in the middle eats that might serve as a bastion for what democracy can do if it flourished, but there are those in the minority who lost power due to the establishment of a new government and well are a lil upset about that.
