K, so I have an essay due very soon and it's on "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade", and we're supposed to answer the question on wheather or not we believe Indiana Jones is classic hero. I would agree that he is a classic hero based on the heroic quest:The birth, Destiny, The quest, Return, The reward, Romantic elements. If u guys could help me with the other two points and give me more facts about Indiana Jones and how he's a hero it'd be greatly appreciated, seriously.

1.) Classic Heroes embody the beliefs of what is good and noble in a society. For Indiana Jones, he embodies the work ethic and individualism of America's society especially the willingness to bend rules as long as it's for a greater good.

2.) Often, heroes are tied to faith (an example is the Christianized versions of the Arthur mythos). The Last Crusade requires Indiana to keep his faith to stay alive, especially at the last test where he has to jump over an impossibly long jump.
