You ask the funniest AND most idiotic questions! It is funny to think that Moss has any say in who should or shouldn't be a coach. Unfortunately for the Faiders (fortunately for fans of everyone else) Al Davis is still the one that will determine that. Just thinking about Carroll ending up coaching under someone that was under him last year makes your question more idiotic than funny.
I think it will take an obsene amount of money from a team that is on the winning side of the NFL to get him out of USC.

alot of people see Pete Carroll as a joke in the nfl. a defensive coordinator is very far from his specialty. and besides, the Raiders Defense was really really good last year. losing Kiffin itself probably hurts the Raider's defense. Pete Carroll as a d coordinator is just really out there. maybe he sould be placed as a assistant, like a RB or a O-line coach, but not a coordinator.
besides, all the rich Alumnai for USC is paying so much money just to keep him there.

That's a negative chief. USC reportedly just locked up the #1 recruiting class in the nation and I highly doubt Pete Carroll will need to be an assistant coach ever again. If he ever goes pro, look for him to get a lot of power and possibly a GM role with it.

absolutley not. carroll is in the perfect situation. he runs the entire show at USC, can get just about any player he wants, makes a killing, and the biggest plus is that he doesn't work for Al Davis.

The only way I see Pete Caroll leaving USC is with a head coaching job in the NFL, not a defensive coordinating job.

Carroll is at SC for ages. He only wants the pro gig if he has totally control and Davis will never give that.

that would funny because kiffin worked for carroll; and then the roles would be reversed.
in order to put that ego in check, there has to be a huge contract. don't think pete carroll will be interested....
