that is a very heavy weight oil to be using especially if you live in cold weather. It could damage your engine

If your using it because of a leak or oil consumption then the a better oil is 40 weight not 10-40 but straight 40

NOW ADAYS IT'S NOT HIGHLY REC.THAT YOU USE SUCH HEAVY OIL EVEN ON HIGH MILEAGE VEHICLES.I USE 10W-40 ON ALL MY CARS AND TRUCK.THE THICKER THE OILTHE LONGER IT TAKES TO TRAVEL INSIDE YOUR ENGINE THAT MEANS ON A COLD MORNING THAT OIL WILL TAKE A LOT SLOWER TO MOVE,CAN CAUSE SOME WEAR IN YOUR ENGINE IF IT KEEPS ON HAPPENING.
