You probably blew up your speakers. You should get new speakers and see if that helps.

Holy SHOOOT! This exact thing has happened to my computer...It's not the speakers being blown because there is no crackling or anything (clear audio) but just not as loud! So i went into volume control and my "wave" was almost all the way down, turned it up and i was back to blasted music. Weird since i've never gone in there!

GO TO CONTROL PANEL CLICK ON SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES WHEN IT OPENS UP CLICK ON AUDIO AND THEN UNDER SOUND PLAYBACK CLICK ON VOLUME WHEN IT OPENS CLICK ON OPTIONS THEN ADVANCED CONTROLS MAKE SURE ALL ARE IN FULL ON IF SO CLICK BACK ON OPTIONS THEN PROPERTIES CLICK ON PLAYBACK CLICK ALL YOU WANT TO SEE AND CONTROL THEN OK THIS WILL OPEN THE ADVANCED OPTIONS MAKE SURE NOTHING IS CHECKED OR MUTED AND ALL IS ON FULL.
THIS SHOULD WORK.
