hi, i never had a father but i can image what a great dad is. you can start off by saying something as... "hi daddy, i hope this finds you in the best of health and happiness. and so on, or maybe a funny one like, let's go fishing before dark and catch a whale for dinner! i'm a idiot but i tried lol... good luck :P
