Opinionated much?
The Royal Family keeps families working that ordinarily wouldn't be. There are companies and corporations and towns that depends on the Royals. I'm not saying they are a good thing, I'm not even British. But, I'm just looking at it as a tourist and business person.
I would definately assume they bring in more revenue than is spent on them!!!

Petty jealously will get you nowhere. I haven't seen any example of a Presidential Head of State being any better.
Anachronistic? Obviously, you do have to have everything spelled out to you? If it were so disgraceful, we would have changed the system long before now. If it works, don't try to mend it.

The Royal family are Great
They are one of the only things that separates us from the rest of the world and make us proud of our heritage
They also work extremely hard doing charity work and royal commitments that have to be done (I mean do you think the queen really enjoys doing the official opening of Parliament!)
They also keep thousands of people in jobs and bring in hundreds of thousands in revenue from tourism
They all have their own companies that keep people in jobs that wouldn't be there if we had no Royal family
And I would rather pay for the Queen to go on Holiday than Tony Poxy Blair at least she puts back into the country what has that idiot done for this country
Bring back sovereign Rule if NEW LABOUR is anything to go by!!!!

Is this what is known as an open minded question? It sounds just a tiny bit slanted to me, but then, what do I know..... As to the contents of their intestines, you'll have to check with their doctor to find out whether they have parasites or not.

Silverbirch hit the nail on the head fair and square. The EU costs us, as taxpayers, far more than our Royal Family do....the EU also interferes in our day to day living far more than the Monarchy ever could...
The Monarchy or an unelected President of the EU....I know which I would prefer...

i dont like the royal family....BUT...FACT-the royal family earn this country 3 times the amout that they take from us...research if u are unsure if im telling the truth...

I think they work pretty hard & I wouldn't like to do what they have to do, so although they may be anachronistic I don't think they are parasites.
