I've been searching Yahoo!Answers for this same thing. So far I have the following:
1) Cake/Cookies
2) Flowers
3) A CD
4) A heartfelt letter
5) A 'Memory Box' to store photos, letters, and memoirs.
6) A teddy bear or some fluffy thing (sleep with it a few nights to make it 'feel' and smell like you, he'd like that even though he won't admit it)
7) A home-made dinner
8) A night on the town, including a dinner at a quiet diner and a movie of his choice
I, personally, am going to be doing *something* on this list but i'm not sure though...

Most guys love sports or mechanics or hunting. Or if your not a teen then sex would maybe somewhat of an anwser. Some sports tickets, Private boat rental just before sunset, tools or maybe a nice dinner at a restaurant

I think the best gift is a nice outfit and a nice pare of shoes to match it and a gold necklace to go with it that is enough.

I'm getting him a rugby top, I'm just thinking of it as a present he'd want for xmas or b'day. I don't think he'd be into something lovey dovey like we are with our flowers and stuff.

booty! hee hee they all like that! but you can also try a gift card at some place they shop a lot. i got my husband a $100 card to gameworks and he loved it! he got to pick out what HE wanted.

Stay away from things that you know you would like (flowers, teddy bears, candles) Get something he would like (boxers, cologne, a huge bag of his favorite candy, DVD, CD)
