yeah they look like fools. but i think thats what makes it fun! life isn't fun if you can't laugh a little. besides. i think the whole grill thing is something that goes waaayy back, to an idea from ancient times. once when i was visiting a mayan ruin, the archeologists said that they had found a skull that had all jade teeth! (or some type of precious stone like that) and the head belonged to a cheif or king of some sort. they do it to show status, class, or authority i guess.

Yes they do. The first time I saw them on a rapper I thought they were some kind of orthodontic device. I think only rappers or people in showbiz should be allowed to wear them as it is their job to entertain us and give us something weird everytime we see them. When you're not a rapper you kinda look like a fool that has no teeth and needs false ones only avalible in metal.

Well, I think that they look okay. First of all, you need to admire them, since grills cost a fortune. Maybe they do look weird, and they may be just covering up a dental problem. And, always, if someone famous starts a tradition like that, everybody wants to be just like them and get grills because the famous people have them. Basically, I think it just depends on everyone's opinion.

"Grillz" are the stupidest thing I've ever seen... it seriously looks like someone is smuggling tin foil in their mouth. Can we just spend our money on something worthwhile? Philanthropic aid, perhaps?

Personally, I'd prefer a sparkling white smile over a platinum grill any day.

Yes. They look like they ran into a trail and got the cattle guard stuck in their mouths.

I don't get them. I don't know if they look like fools...but they don't look good. A gold tooth is one thing...and I'm not really liking that look, either...but something that looks like a hockey mouth guard made of platinum? Why?

Not really. Why do people feel the need to ridicule things that are different. Maybe people don't want the traditional white(or yellow smile). Don't insult someone because of that. People are allowed to do what they please.
