They probably evolved from the same monkeys as everyone else, and simply adapted differently. It's not like it was a one step process from monkey to human, and there was probably a lot more adatpion. For all we know, there was an evolutionary reason for the different eye-shape in the environment where the people which modern day Asians descended from.

If evolution is true based on the Origin of Species by Charles Darwin the human race started evolving from apes in africa. when they evolved into the first humans they started spreading out all over the world and got to asia so pretty much everyone came from the same monkeys if the theory of evolution is true.
