Steve nash should recieve the MVP award this yr? & why in the world would Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, & Gilbert Arenas be added to the list of candidacy for MVP?

Dirk Nowitzki should be this years MVP, I dont see anyone else out there more deserving than him & this is coming from a Lakers fan.

the mavericks have a better record than the suns, & the Lakers lose most of the time that Kobe doesnt play . . .so wouldnt that give Kobe the MVP award!!!

the only reason to give it to nash would be that he's improved his stats from his previous 2 MVP seasons while dirks stats have gone down and are his worst in the past 3 years

Although nash has never deserved an MVP and is the sole reason the MVP has lost so much credibility the last few sesons

The MVP race doesn't start until after the all star break though

it's not who starts strong, it's who finishes strong

LeBron got robbed last year after all the records he smahed and he nearly be Kobe in scoring and advanced further in the playoffs. Dwayne Wade isn't a true superstar. That team can't win without Shaq. Gilbert is exciting, but like Kobe basically said, he is just a gunner. LeBron is struggling this year but he is the KING he will find a way to beat the adversity.
Dallas is in a whole other category right now. I don't really thing Dirk entirely deserves the MVP because the way HIS ENTIRE TEAM has utterly dominated opponents. Same goes for Steve Nash, whose team is loaded with freakish athletes.
But a guy who is an underated candidate would Be Tracy McGrady. He has been healthy for the majority of the year and has led Houston, in the absence of an injured Yao, to a 31-17 record, 1 game behind the Spurs. Now thats surpising.

Well LeBron isnt gonna win it unless he has a massive turnaround. I think Steve Nash and Gilbert Arenas are the top two guys. They are both leaders of there teams, great players. I think Steve Nash will probably win if the the Suns win 60 games though.

i'd go dwayne wade or steve nash, but you got to like a guy who finishes a game with 23 points, 15 assists, and 0 turnovers - steve nash.

for the math-inclined he may have scored 23, but he helped his team score 30 or more points without turning the ball over.

1) cause his team has won more games
2) the suns almost lost to the blazers without him, he's important
3) Nowitzki should be the MVP right now, but those were the reasons in case he doesnt win
