Bill Gates is an entrepreneur that started in his garage with an idea and made it rich on his own efforts.
George Bush rose on his family's coattails to eventually become the president of the US. Depite his family, he did most of it on his own merit.
In both cases those men are hated and reviled by people who have never accomplished half of what they have.
