honey, I was the champ. I used to have this shtick where I said I was calling from the CHA, Contest Headquarters of America and if they could answer today's question, then they would win a new color TV. Most people hung up, but one lady actually answered the question right, and I freaked out and hung up. Ah, the days before caller ID were sweet. Once I had a sleepover party and we made like HUNDREDS of crank calls, and I didn't know that all local calls showed up on the phone bill, and some weren't even local. I blamed one of my friends. I was bad.

I think we all did as kids, and then they came out with caller ID and took the fun of making crank calls away.

yeah me, my brother and our friends used to call this guy's(who was an a**hole) house and when his wife would pick up, my friend would ask in a ditzy voice is mike(the guy) there? and his wife would ask something like can I take a message he's not home and my friend would say "okay then just tell him I had an amazing time last night and thanks for paying for the hotel" it was the funniest thing ever....
