or do I have to delete them one by one...I'm new to this IPOD frenzy...please help!

when you open the itunes software press (AND HOLD) the CTRL key on your keyboard. click each song using your mouse and when you have selected the songs you wish to delete, take your finger off the CTRL button. now you have selected multiple tracks you can delete them as normal

open up your itunes
click and hold the Ctrl key and click on all of the songs that you want off of your ipod
once you selected them all click the delete key and a prompt will come up and click yes youre sure you want to delete
then click update ipod

u can hold shift and push the down arrow to delete a group of songs...but they have to be right by each other

push control then click each song then right click on anyone and click delete. easy.simple.done.

plug it in the PC and delete it
