Just recently my computer slowed way down, and the screen(not a LCD or plasma, just a normal Dell screen) started spazing out(not sure how to describe it), but I'd like to know what the problem could be and how I could get rid of it? For free if possible.
Thanks!

I forgot to mention that pop-ups started to show up, all of which pretain to the subject of the website I am on when they appear. My pop-up blocker does nothing about it and makes no indication that there is a pop-up appearing.

i'd guess it's your video card. you could try removing it and re-seating it, but if it's defective it will have to be replaced.

Working with a slow computer can be time consuming as programs/ applications take a long time to start. This problem is more pronounced in computers which have been used for 6 or more months. More information at http://fixit.in/slowcomputer.html

Sounds like your Graphics card has a problem, which means that isn't getting enough juice (unlikely), or that it has bad drivers.
download some older ones. if that doesn't work, contact dell.
