hi there ,to sintetize sulfuric acid out of sulfure by oxidation you need a good catalizer like O5V2.I were unable to get it ,but I have got a lingot of pure vanadium. Can someone tell me were to buy this product or an easy way to oxide it to its pentoxide.
The sulfuric acid has many uses as a catalicer in many reactions ,I'll use it with comon sense (no bad intentions really).
thanks for the information!!

You need to do some research on the Contact Process, and to realise that the initial product, sulphur trioxide, is very difficult indeed to handle.

Heating powdered vanadium in oxygen would be a good method of obtaining vandium(V) oxide.
