You should get some sort of indication that your player is full and cannot accept any more songs. It won't delete any songs on its own. There are several ways to delete songs. My MP3 players are all "drag and drop" so I just open windows explorer and do the deletions and transfers that way. I know you can also go into your MP3 player's menu and delete songs that way but It takes way too long to do it like that.

When you try to put more songs on it, it won't let you. What you can do to delete some songs are delete them using your mp3 menu options or connect it to the computer and delete them using your computer, this way is faster. You could also move the songs to your computer. If the mp3 player can play WMAs and you don't want to delete your songs, burn all the songs on CD(s) and rip them into half the size using Windows Media Player into WMA format.
