No but they will finish in the Top 15 since they will lose their bowl game next season. I'd say they finish with one or two losses and ranked 11-15 at the end

No. If Boise State wants to be recognized as a great football team and win a National Championship, they need to get out of the WAC. Maybe they can join the Pac 10 or become an Independent. That way they can play some real teams, and if they still go undefeated, then they can be National Champions.

I would say not in the preseason poll. However, the preseason poll for 2006 did not have them in the top five but look where they finished. They are losing some key players and if they want to stay in their conference and get respect (ranking votes), then they better start loading up their non-conference schedule with teams the caliber of Ohio State, LSU, USC, Florida, Texas and Michigan. If they can win games against teams like the aforementioned, this would go a long way on selling the voting "experts" and ranking BSU high in the pack.

No. Weak non-conference schedule coupled with the loss of Zabransky will mean a fall from grace. They won't be Top 5, but they'll be ok if an adequate QB can be found.

Not a chance in the preseason poll. If they can get through the season undefeated (again) and win their bcs bowl (again) then they will be. But it is going to be really difficult with a new qb. Also, USC, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and others will definitely be ranked higher in the preseason poll.

No. It's a shame, they can't book a very prestigous schedule when they play WAC. They beat Oklahoma and I think could have won the national championship if we had the 32 playoff team system. Oh well
