Why do people say Brady is not a good quarterback?

All over these posts I hear about how bad Tom Brady is. Im from Greenbay and a Favre man myself, but honestly the guy seems pretty good to me. Everyone says hes the product of the Patriots system and wouldnt be good elsewhere but I always thought that the Patriots would be a below five-hundred team without Brady. No he isnt manning, but I think Brady is definetly one of the Top 20 of all time while Manning is in the top 5. Comparing manning and brady isn even fair either. I think the fact that Peyton has Harrison and Wayne and brady's #1 guy is an average TE named Ben Watson. Brady also seems to be one of those guy who shows up when the game is on the line and I think right now he and Manning are the only ones who you can say are always in a game until the final gun. But I would like an explaination from people why brady isnt good

I agree with everything you said expect for the manning being in the top 5 HELL NO.....I would take Brady over manning any day of the week....if you gave Brady half the talent manning has around him you would see six rings on his fingers not three....but by the way he still has three and if my math serves me right that's still two more than manning will ever have

One of two reasons;

first of all he's a winner. Some people hate watching a QB have so much success ( I was guilty of this during the 1980's with Joe Montana)

Secondly; They're jealous as he!!. Brady is a great QB. If he had the same receivers as Manning he might have 6 championships, instead of 3. Brady reminds me a lot of Joe Montana. Although someone may put up better numbers, Brady is consistant, makes few mistakes, and most importantly WINS BIG GAME!

the majority of people know that Tom Brady is good. it is just usually a person that has his team lose to the patriots constantly says "Brady sucks".

alot of posts are comparing Brady to Manning and alot of people now are saying Brady is not as good as Manning, but they are not saying Brady sucks as a QB. i know it is not fair but there really is nothing else to compare Brady to. Manning is going into his 10th year and brady is going into his 8th. they are THE top 2 QBs in the league right now, so it the fairest compaison. you don't want to compare Brady to Aaron Brooks, or Alex Smith, or Jake Plummer. Brady is better than all those guys hands down. however when it comes to Brady and Manning question both of them excel at diffrent things. Brady is better in this catigory, Manning is better in this catigory, so it is really only fair to compare these 2.

Brady is a good QB, but he isn't anything special...He's won a few championships, but his offensive line gives him a long time to pass. Brady is a good QB, but he won't go down as one of the best...He is slightly overrated.

Farve is twice the QB that Brady is.

The QB that sucks is Grossman.

I don't think i've ever meet someone who knows anything about football that thought brady was a bad quarterback, he's no peyton but who is. Brady is accurate as hell and makes good decisions.

Brady is good. Where did you read about Brady not being good? I certainly haven't read any of that. People talk down about Peyton Manning more often.

I don;t know why poeple say that brady is a bad quarter-back. I think he;s pertty good. AND IF PEOPLE SAY THAT THEY AREE JUST STUPID. Brady has won 4 superbowl rings . Poeple R stupid these days.I think he is one of the top ten. My brother loves the Packers too. Me my self I like St.Louis Rams.

Me too...Brady is the best quarterback in the league for pulling out the game...Manning is the best quarterback in the league for stats and thats all...Stats don't automatically mean victories...

because they are jealous of his talent. personally I don't like tom brady because he always wins the big games (but what happened these last two years) no superbowl. Its frustrating to see one team dominate over and over and they just dont like the leader of that team. brady is clutch and almost always money in the bank when it counts.

Those people don't know jack.
they equate good with Michael Vick excitement, but Vick won't get to the superbowl. People who say that, usually think of the QB as the guy that throws the ball. But, he is like the on field coach.
