What do you think of Ayaan Hirsi Ali?

Is she a fraud or is she alerting the western world for the danger of Islam. I am normally against any generalisation and tend to respect all ideologies but this women cought my attention the other day in a BBC interview. Are we allowing multiculturalism to threaten what we have achieved in terms of human rights to say the least?

I thought she was great until she was found lying. I don't want to be too judgemental- but if you know you have lied- do not get into politics!

Generalities can be applied to many things which are homogenous. Islam, as based on a literal interpretation of the Quran, believes in the destruction of all non-believers and world domination. This appears to be pretty widespread, considering all the violence the islamic world has wherever it meets up with non-islamic cultures. This does not occur in most other religions.
This woman is right in saying that the hard culture of the fundamental Islamists is a threat to the softening culture of the west. We may end up tolerating ourselves into a war or a horrible murdurous oppressive state if we dont wake up. The people of Islam who come to the west should be held to the same laws of civilization which make it desirable to come to the west in the first place. Oppression of women, the exploitation of children and the violent hatred of other faiths and cultures should not be tolerated, even in the name of that idiotic "multiculturism" (which usually means that any culture but western culture is good.) There must be a way to balance the acceptance of what is good in Islamic cultures with the rejection of what is bad.

She is not a fraud even though she lied about her refugee status to get into the Netherlands (she is now in the US under protection). There are real dangers in Islamism for the West, I mean just look at 9/11, London and Madrid bombings. Maybe she overstates her case but demographically speaking Europe is on the way to becoming Eurabia within about 30-50 years. I don't think people realise just how radical a cultural change is taking place on the Continent. There are majority Asian cities in the UK such as Bradford and Leicester whilst Amsterdam will be majority Muslim within about 30 years. As for the treatment of women, homosexuals and non-Muslims it is clear that Islamic countries lag way behind the West in terms of intellectual sophistication, freedom and equality. Firstly its so good to see intelligent coherent argument on the issue of the Islamist threat. We have to respect her struggle against Islamic influence in Holland, remember that her collaborator on the film "Submission" Theo van Gogh was murdered by an Islamist extremist, and she continues to live under the threat of assassination.

I heard her on the BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour program talking about her female circumcision at the age of five and my blood ran cold. She is a courageous woman who deserves our support.

I belive she is so lost and has issues and insecurites, she has not studied Islam, why so many Women convert toi Islam, its in fact religon for Women to be proud of, Islam protects women, gives them peace freedom, , Islam teaches peace, Islam is againt people who are against God, and for this ISLAM says defend urself cuz dey will attack u, Islam is the fastest growing relgion in the world, just cuz der is voilience in the Muslim world dnt mean Islam relgion is at fault, its the ppl, they dnt practice and do sinsso God punishes them, this is test of faith, to see how we react to situations and other people, the people who r too nice, and dnrt stand in way of things like Homosexuality, adultery usually get their own back, thats why Christian world is corrupt, full of desioeas, adlutery drugs etc, also in Muslim world but at least the crime, and other things NOT as bad in western world, where has the thinkign of forgiving , beign soft , nice etc, got Christians in the world? Now where exaclty, just more sins, Islam teaches us to do what Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) told us to do, which is worship ALLAH who put us here in the first place, people will realise in time, mark ma words.
