When my fiance and have a fight, I always end up giving in to having sex with him. It's not like he's making me, but after a day(two at the most), I just don't want to wait anymore. I just wonder if that's giving him the wrong impression, that we can just have sex and it makes everything better? Does he really understand that there are times that he is wrong, and I'm not having sex with him to "make it better". There are times that I'm not ready to forgive him but I just do it anyways. Am I being selfish? Opinions please,

Your problem is not the fact that you have sex with him too early. Your problem is that you don't communicate and resolve the issue before you have sex. Look at it this way--if you can solve the issue by talking things out, you can have MUTUAL makeup sex after you are done. Everyone knows that makeup sex is the best kind of sex! So, next time, resolve the issue, then have the sex, not the other way around.

It's called "make-up sex". It was present in every relationship I've been in. Pretty much your hormones are raging when you fight (often the reason you fight for no reason) and then, because neither party wants to give in and suggest sex right away, they usually have to deal with the high levels of hormones until they finally give in and have sex. Sure he understands that he's wrong, but sex is a way of making up after the fight. I've had relationships where we would get in fights pretty much just so we could have make-up sex.

I had this exact same problem and trust me, having sex to end fights is not the answer. Doing this leaves the initial conflict unresolved and keeps it open for another fight sometime down the road. What you need to do is sit him down and talk, and don't always wait for him to initiate the conversation just because he's the guy (I hear this excuse from alot of girls). After you two have discussed the problem that caused the fight and have come to some sort of resolution, then you can have sex.

Goodman has a goodpoint. Make him communicate with you first. Fights aren't about getting someone to say "sorry" or admit they are wrong. It just feels that way. I think you would benefit from some communication tools like you would use in counseling. You don't even have to tell him that you are using them. Try looking up some info on communication skills for couples. Good luck!

When I was dating the wife before we got married and the first few yrs into the marriage..When we had a fight it would not matter who was wrong ,we both wanted to make up to each other...and it was making love to each other...Some times when couples fight..they have sex....it's thier way of showing each other they are sorry for fighting...nobody likes to fight..

Make-up sex is the best. Its almost worth getting into an arguement sometimes just to make-up later.
