How about:
The Electronic Age - how email, texting and cell phones have affected business and personal relationships - by removing the "personal' aspect.
OR
Why Sports and Entertainment personalities become "gods" to the general public. When in fact - they are no better than or different than anyone else.
Good Luck

you should write a paper on the sociological topics in touch with our modern-day environmental complications, ie. human beings's resistence to regulate, the sociology in the back of all the administration topics, etc. i'm taking a type now observed as human beings and the ecosystem, and the above is especially a lot the most objective. that's an outstanding subject, and packed with all sorts of sub-matters to position in writing about.

I did my senior research paper on Orthodox Jews. Very interesting...
Some ideas: anything based on teen/growing up, different echelons of class (rich vs poor), business (ethics, employer vs employee relationships), serial killers or murders and their mentalities, gay/lesbian issues, religions and rituals, protesters and their reason for acting out and their mentalities...
There are so so so many... maybe you can specify how long the paper needs to be.
Good luck! I know it's the hardest when the topic is left up to the writer.

Each year the city of Indianapolis, IN celebrates a thing called "Black Expo". (as part of this, there is a Black College football game) These and other events lead into Black History Month. Your topic-- are these things "good" for society as it strives to add diversity and integration to our social mix ? Are they of themselves, self defeating and contributory to increased racial tension and de facto segregation all over again ? I guarantee you that no one else in your class will have this topic--its too hot to handle.
