I myself have taken it about 50 times (not since 95 though) and sincerely believe that I am a much freer thinker and a better person for it. If you don't want to answer the question in a general forum, I understand. Email me if you care to.

I don't mean this as an advertisement for drugs like ....DO THEM, I would never recommend it. I have seen lives ruined. I am merely curious what people think who have ingested such chemicals. I really don't give a rat's butt what people think of me for my usage. So if you haven't had such experiences, please just move on to the next question. As far as brain damage, I can only speak for myself. I have a higher IQ now than when I was 13. (I'm 44). Oh, and yeah, I had some rough times. I once ingested 10 hits of Mr. Natural. I was in never never land for 3 days. I would never do that twice!

I've taken LSD, shrooms, coke, XTC many times. Short term memory loss prevails, but other than that, I don't notice any problems.

I work as a professional and use once a month for fun. It hasn't effected my work or home life.

Like you, I have a open mind and am less judgmental.

was a massive fan onf the 'rabbnit holes', for about 10 years, till it go to the point i couldnt get out of bed without a trip.
i have a larger iq now then i dod when i was a teenager, but it has come at a cost.
i have very little short term memory, where as when i was a teenager, i had an awesome memory. and dont say its bevause of age. im 24.
i am able to think more clearly under stress then i could before, and have a more open mind (i think).
all in all, i would say that he memory loss was an acceptable price to pay for what it has given back to me.
would like to think i took more from lsd then lsd took from me, but time will tell.
if i had my time again, id probably do the same, if not more.

I would seriously doubt that the reason you became a "free-thinker" has anything to do with drugs. I've taken various things in my life, and while it does tend to open you up to experiences you wouldn't otherwise get, it dulls the brain. For some people that may not be the case, but the research suggests that LSD does cause permanent damage.

i dont recomend it for sure as i did see two people on separate dates need to be admitted to hospitail as a result of the drug . one of the people did well to come out of it with his mind intact. the other was not so bad.
i did use it and it was ok i sure wont use it 50x in a life time each time is a big gamble one that i dont think is really worth it.
i admit i can remember the time i was on it like it was yesterday and i found it rather interesting its just that i am thinking nope fun yes too dangerous for sure.

Though you don't notice the changes, they do happen.
You just can't witness the change like others can.

Ask any psychotic if they think they are psychotic.
They just hear things that you can't.
Their minds are more open than yours is.
