Most people who kill other people dont have a connection to feelings. They usually are very cold and non emotional. They tend to think of people as objects or shells. Other people who kill actually get a thrill out of the fear in people, like an adrenaline rush. I don't think you can really nail down any one reason why people kill. There are many categories, but as this world progresses into the future, the reasons will change as society changes. I do think that there is almost always a chemical abnormality in the brain of killers, something isnt connecting or putting together the simple logic of life in another human being.

I don't think we can ever truly know what goes through another person's head. It's not like there's an x-ray for THOUGHTS after all. It does appear that psychopaths or other social disorders don't feel things like the rest of us do. In that regard, perhaps they don't feel anything when they kill someone. A lot of psychopaths have been interviewed (go to CRIMELIBRARY on line) who say they didn't feel any remorse after killing. That's just SICK.

It all depends on who is doing the killing-
Someone with a dangerous psychotic illness will not have the typical emotional and cognitive thought processes that others do.
Armed police or military personnel are likely to respond differently to someone killing by accident etc.

Read some memoirs or studies of killers, such as 'Killing for Company' written by Brian Masters, on the mass murderer Dennis Nilsen. This may give you an understanding of what you're after.

Good luck! Rob

Emotions eh!! I would say that anger has a way of controlling your actions for a brief interlude in certain people for a short time thus taking over your normal thought process and controlling your actions enough to commit such a heinous crime.

Their feelings are being dominated by the anger you see it only takes a split second to kill someone this definition only applies to non premeditated actions.

Premeditated actions are committed by evil nasty people but are also very rare. In military situations it's dog eat dog!

They are mentally disturbed...ANYONE who kills another person is not in their right frame of mind and usually it's out of pure selfishness...to cover up something or prevent the victim from exposing a truth or whatever. Some people kill in self-defense and I don't think they're mentally disturbed, but after they kill the perpetrator they may have to deal with emotional issues caused from seeing themselves kill someone in self-defense. Yeah...some sickos get a thrill from killing. Some fantasize about it and end up doing it...it's a power trip. They are WEAK and pathetic individuals with mental issues, for sure. Greed is another factor...like a person who kills their spouse to collect insurance money. They, like the others...still have mental issues because a sane person with a conscience would not commit such acts. So...there are some of the reasons...and it mostly boils down to their being MENTALLY DISTURBED INDIVIDUALS.

Well... I suppose that depends on the motive. If it's some random person they kill in the street, I have no clue. Mental problems. Nothing is going through their head at all.
If it's a murder because of a grudge or something, then, well, that would be what they're thinking.
That's my guess.

Dnt know wht goes on in their heads, but they must def be mentally sick, which shows when they have killed there is no way they can ever live normally, humans are not made 2 destroy another but yet so many killings around the world, which is really sad.......... Its the Devil tht whispers in the ears of the ppl it is then upto those ppl to ignore this and walk away.

Nothing. They just don't care.

Some killers, like serial killers, actually find pleasure in the killing. Some find it a work of art. Other's ejaculate during the act because it turns them on so much. There's no one reason for anything. And that applies with abnormal behavior as well.

I believe it's mostly emotional. Whether random or not. For example, a serial killer who only kills women who are a certain race, have a certain hair color, etc. probably targets that certain kind of woman because she reminds them of someone who has caused them harm. (reenacting the past but getting revenge)

Another example, some woman kills a guy because he killed her family member. (revenge)

I believe we are all 'creatures of habit' and that we ALWAYS have a reason for doing what we do. Whether good or bad
