To have lyrics on your iPod:
Find the song you want to lyrics for in the iTunes library. Right-click on the song, and click on info. Then click on the lyrics tab and type in the lyrics (copy and paste off the internet, easy), than click ok. When you synchronize your iPod with the library the song will automatically update with the lyrics.
To view the lyrics on the iPod:
When listening to a song, click the center button three times from the song info screen.

right click on a song, press get info, click on the lyrics tab and either type or paste lyrics, press save/ok and then plug in your ipod, the lyrics should copy onto the ipod
