Shox or VC 5 - i personally don't like shox, it sometimes hurts my knees. I prefer zoom or max air.

The jordan V is an awesome shoe, but not for today's basketball.

For basketball, i recommend the Melo M3, best basketball shoes out right now

The only thing that I can contribute is about the Shox and the VCs. I bought the first or second version of the Nike Shox a couple of years ago. I hated them. I found that the Shox on the soles of the shoe would slip out when turning the corner.

Again this was like 3-4 years ago, and maybe it's just a problem for me. But, since then, I haven't even thought about buying shoes with that Shox system.

NO! none of those. Shox shoes wear out quickly and the sole can become rigid. And retro Jordan shoes will kill your feet on the court, they may be fashionable, but they are far behind in technology. I would reccommend the most comfortable shoe on the market: the LeBrons. Or the nike team shoes. Perhaps the air force 25.

Do you want the more comfortable shoes or the better-looking ones? I think the Nike is more comfortable, while the Jordan 5s look much better (in my opinion the 5s are the best looking Jordans). I dont really see people (except for in the NBA) play basketball in Air Jordans, so I think you should get the Nike Shox

The footwear might desire to be soft for you while working, leaping, pivoting, and for doing any and all strikes which you do while enjoying basketball. For me, group Jordan's have worked surprisingly solid, yet anybody has a distinctive decision. only remember that the seems have not something to do with the overall performance of the shoe.

If the shoes are what you are concerned about, then you need to find a different sport.
