I would see an attorney. Im in the same situation...but like my therapist said a while back, it shouldn't matter to you how he spends his money and if he chooses to support his non working girlfriend then thats his choice. Its horrible though when he has kids and is making up LIES to not have to pay child support, his fiance wants my life, we all knew that...so she's got it now in about two hrs...I think u are entitled and I would seek help :( Nice to know Im not the only one

after a 29 year marriage, you should be entitled to some kind of alimony.

You certainly entitled to get what you ask for ,get evidence of what they are doing while still your married to him. If you have been married for 29 years he is more than likely going through through midlife crisis, that his problem not yours..
Get you a real good divorce lawyer file for all you can get and also file for him to pay all your divorce attorney fees and court cost. a good divorce atty. knows exactly what all you can get and he will take him to the cleaners, where he belongs. I don't why men think they get younger and women get older, false ego I guess.

Call a lawyer ASAP. It doesn't cost anything to chat with them on the phone and ask some questions, then you will have more of an idea of what your options are.

based on what i have seen here, it is possible. a divorce is basicly an arbitration of the assets. both parties negotiate for what they feel is right and, ultimately, the judge decides.

wow woman, it is like u described me and my new freshly divorsed hubby. i thought it was his old bitter ex wife posting here, but u mentioned u live in new york and we live in europe. anyway, if he pays child support to you for his children (mine pays for his too) be happy and do not be greedy beatch. u made his life miserable for 29 years, he has some rights to be happy at the end of his life. if it wasn't your fault he wouldn't have left you. hope i was helpful
