I have a blue dutch and am trying to find others who have rabbits like him. Any rabbit is fine, but looking for dutch owners. What did you name your bunnies, and what color are they?

Firstly, was the rabbit that got wet in a cage. If it was it couldn't go and find shelter whereas a wild rabbit will dig a hole underground for shelter. Also pet rabbits are weaker than wild rabbits and they don't have that survival instinct. Pet rabbits need someone to care for them whereas wild rabbits can take care of themselves. Also you wouldn't know if a wild rabbit died unless you happen to come across it, but they would mostly live in areas with grass and trees.

I raise rabbits. The first breed that I raised was Dutch, but I don't have Dutch any longer.

Go to the website:

http://www.dutchrabbit.com

That is the website for the Dutch club in the US.

I have a solid black, except for the tip of her left paw, Holland lop. She is the best pet that I have ever had. she is litter boxed trained. She eats and sleeps with me. She even tries to get into the tub when I shower. I have had her for 3 years. I named her Shadow Lucky Johnny Bloom. There is an old wives tale that the longer the rabbits name the longer it lives. I picked shadow because she follows me around like one. Lucky because she was almost dead when I got her and I nursed her back to health. and Johnny Bloom for Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp, the two hottest guys in Hollywood.
Good luck with you bunny.

funny, she says it's because he feels safe.
