We've been together for about 7 months. It's a binary watch (is that too geeky?) I'm stressing. I have no idea what to get him. I thought the watch was cool, he's into computers. ::Le' Sigh::

Man, I wish my girl would get me a binary watch! If your mate has a computer worth as much or more than his car (or has more data on his computer than you can count) than this is a great gift, so long as he's actually a bit of a nerd of course. That is an incredibly thoughtful gift if he is a "geek"... has he ever visited sites like tigerdirect, atic, newegg, thinkgeek, slashdot, digg, or the like. If he has then you want to get him this.

I'D BE CAREFUL WITH THAT ONE. THERE WAS A GUY I WAS DATING, AND HAD DATED FOR A YEAR AND 3 MONTHS ON VALENTINES DAY. ANYWAY, I BOUGHT HIM THIS RATHER EXPENSIVE WATCH FOR VALENTINES DAY, AND HE HATED IT. HE DIDN'T HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL ME AND I GOT REALLY UPSET THAT HE TOOK IT BACK AND GOT A CHEAP PLASTIC ONE. SO, THANKS TO THAT, I DON'T BUY A GUY ANYTHING UNLESS I KNOW HE REALLY WANTS IT. IF HE'S INTO COMPUTERS, WHY NOT GET HIM A GIFT CERTIFICATE TO A STORE THAT SELLS COMPUTER GAMES OR SOMETHING?

It sounds like an excellent gift to me. I am having some trouble myself. I have been with my boyfriend 4 months and I got him a digital camera which seems kind of lame.

i think it is a good gift especially for 7 months. Not too pricy but still classy and romantic.
hope that helps

omg, i know so many people that return their gifts afterwards so don't stress too much about it

I've never seen or heard of anyone turning a watch down yet...especially if they need one.
