im 12 years old i started my periods about 10 months ago but lately when im not on i get brown discharge is this normal?

Yes. When you first start, you'll have some irregular activity while your body gets used to its new hormonal rhythym. The brown stuff is blood, just not a lot of it.

If you get worried ask your doctor, but from my own experience it's totally normal and okay.

yeah sounds pretty normal to me.... i get brown discharge when mines is going away... and like the first person said, it may be old blood.

anyway, when you first start your period, things are always a little weird for maybe a year or a little more

I am sure it is fine. Your period could still be a little irregular. It can also be a sign that your period is on its way. However if it doesn't come and you sill have that problem consult your mom and your doctor. It could be a minor infection of sorts, but I doubt you need to worry much about that.

Sounds like old blood which is normal, or could be a warning that your periods coming

if you just had gotten ur period its usually a sign that its either going away or just coming i get those all the time before and after my period and i just wear a pad so it doesnt ruin my underwear but its nothing to be worried about its perfectly normal

its ok. just wear a pad until it is over. itll keep it from dirtying ur undies. if it never stops, tell ur doctor - they know what they r talking about... hopefully

ya its normal
just wear pantyliners
like pads just really thin and for everyday use
