I prefer the sponge mops myself- the ones that have a lever on them to squeeze the excess water out and they usually have a scrub strip on one side!

RE:
What is the best mop for washing a floor? A string mop or sponge mop. Is there a better mop out there?

It depends on the type of floor that you are mopping. If it is a tile floor, the sponge mop is better than the string mop. A tile floor should not be mopped with a lot of water, and you can wring out the sponge mop better.

The Bissell Flip-It b/c it's the same concept as a rug steam cleaner only for hard floors. There's cleaning solution for wood and tile floors, it has a vacumn on one side and mop on the other. It also sucks up the water so your floor dries a lot faster.

It works good, but I still get on my hands and knees every few months with the soft scrub bleach and toothbrush and clean the grout.

There is no easy answer. Grout, by nature, is porous, even sealed grout. If you clean the floors more often, there will be less dirt to get deposited on the grout. Mop your floors, then go over the grout lines with a toothbrush to get out the dirt - or - use a carpet cleaner on your floors, it sucks up all the dirty water after it cleans an area.

I like the Libman mop that has the wringer cup on it. My hands never touch the wet mop head. It lasts a long time, mops really well, and rinses easily. I have one in my home, one in my vacation home, and one in each of the three houses I clean for other people. As you can see, I really like it!

I have used both, and what i prefer, is not on your list. After using both, i still prefer the old fashion get down on the hands and knees! I know it's not the easiest, but it's the only way to really get the floor cleanest.
